Provincial Grand Lodge Kilwinning

The Installation of Brother David Charles Bloomfield as Provincial Grand Master of Kilwinning and his Commissioned Office Bearers took place on Saturday 16th August 2008, within the premises of The Mother Lodge of Scotland.  The installation ceremony was carried out by Brother Archibald D Orr Ewing B.A. Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason.

The Provincial Grand Lodge of Kilwinning has the unique position of only having one Lodge in her province that being Lodge Mother Kilwinning No.0 and was formed as part of the amendments to the 1807 agreement between The Grand Lodge of Scotland and Grand Lodge of Kilwinning.

In the Masonic Temple Kilwinning at 3.00pm on the 16th August 2008, Past Provincial Grand Master of Kilwinning Brother David Wilson welcomed all the visiting brethren, the deputations from the Grand Lodge of Scotland and the sister Provincial Grand Lodges to witness the ceremony of the installation of the 6th Provincial Grand Master of Kilwinning Brother David Charles Bloomfield.
